Voted finalists in the 2012 World Superyacht Awards: 55m M.Y. Quinta Essentia and the Sunseeker 130’ Predator “Never Say Never”.

Two of Ken Freivokh Design’s projects were voted finalists in the 2012 World Superyacht Awards judging: the 55m Heesen built M.Y. Quinta Essentia and the Sunseeker 130’ Predator “Never Say Never”.

On Quinta Essentia the Freivokh team took design to its ultimate level of detail, matching many of the external details to the extraordinary interior, which included a free flowing treatment of floors and ceilings, glass shards and glass and polished stainless stairs within a unique atrium. The interior décor was finalised with input from Michela Reverberi.

Never Say Never was a deeply custom interpretation of the semi custom Sunseeker Predator 130. Developed for an owner for whom Ken Freivokh had previously designed boats and private jets, the interior is a very special blend of leathers and deep lacquers to create a warm and strikingly colourful interior.

A quite extraordinary yacht, building in wood to achieve quite unique characteristics, Symphony will be without exception the largest privately sailing yacht in the world. A four masted schooner incorporating a high tech version of the unique Hoyt booms, the yacht includes some very unique features, including a large sliding roof over the central guest cockpit to ensure that it can be used all year round irrespective of the weather, an all glass swimming pool bringing light and interest to the gymnasium, with a rising swimming pool platform which, when up, extends the available deck space for receptions and events, as well as becoming an integral part of the helicopter landing platform.

Totally separate owner quarters include sauna and massage rooms. In addition to utility and rescue tenders, Symphony also carries open and closed 10m Pascoe limousine tenders. Keel and frames completed at Dream Ship Victory’s highly impressive new shipyard in Bozburun, Southern Turkey. External styling and interior design by Ken Freivokh Design, naval architecture by Dykstra & Partners.
